welcome! I believe the song you were talking about in your "Favorite songs" was Hwy 90.  Also- see you studied Brazilian music - one of my one of my favorites!

    "Highway 90" the whole CD has got a kick ass rhythm section; all your grooves swing/groove hard! Yeehaw! I watched a video from a years ago NAMM... I think it was where you were playing some fusion esque soloing with a bass player I think ... piece was uptempo and your playing stunned me because it was such a contrast to your soul roots playing - I was like "wow"!  you guys were amazing! Anyways enuff hero worship lol ... Thanks for your music Shane!

      I'm 72 ... professionally I sang & played percussion & songwriter, & recorded with Asian American jazz fusion ensemble Hiroshima - 1975-81...  Studied in Brazil in 1995 the religious and cultural rhythms ... and put out my first CD, in 2019... Originally from L.A. now live in New Mexico. I've played guitar only to write & sometimes record on my songs;  I'm not gigging guitarist ... but if I were I'd want to incorporate your style as well as other guitarists I listed into my writing.
