Outro improv solo on "Kiss on my List" with Daryl Hall and John Oates

Live in Paris, France 2019- a little moment at the segue from "Kiss is on my list" to "Private Eyes" where I stretch out for a few bars. I apologize to the kind Parisians in the front row that bore the full wrath of a Soldano SLO 100 amplifier head on.

Shane, I sat right in front of you, 1. row Paris, and I loved it. Just a little tip I got from a a doctor/ophthalmologist I was seated next to at a dinner many years ago. When exposed to loud music like for instance concerts - make sure to keep your mouth just a little bit open in order to create some sort pressure that can protect you from a loss of hearing of course combined with ear plugs. But than again who sits through a whole concert with their mouth open. I guess It’s probably common knowledge among musicians.

haha so great! I wear earplugs but that's a helpful tip......it's mostly the subs under the stage. They sound SO loud- I think it's just the current trend to pump massive amounts of bass and crank the sub speakers. I've developed a ring in my right ear since I've been with H&O because of this. It's such an un-natural frequency and unmusicial...but hey what do i know...haha.

So good! Thanks for posting that one! How many want that front row seat?

Shane T.

haha, in context it probably wasn't too punishing. Stage volume can be pretty loud though people don't realize. Daryl likes it loud.

I sat 2nd or 3rd row a few times in front of you. I wear those ear plugs for concert volume that do not distort the sound. One interesting note, at Foxwoods, I thought i could hear very well from your stack?? Sounded really good. Something different in that theater set up?
